Virtual Walk for Sjögren's
For all of DC, Maryland, Virginia & West Virginia
Saturday, April 17th, 2021
10:00 a.m. EDT
Join us on Saturday, April 17th at 10:00 a.m. EDT via Zoom for the Mid-Atlantic Virtual Walk Opening Ceremony and then celebrate our strength as you walk through your neighborhood or other safe area.
If you raise funds or donate $40 by Wednesday, April 7th, you will receive your Walk for Sjögren's T-Shirt in time for you to wear on Walk Day!
Step 1. Register: You can choose one of two registration options:
- You can personally donate your $40 registration fee and we will automatically send you a Walk for Sjögren’s T-Shirt!
- Or you can raise your $40 registration fee by setting up a webpage to collect donations from family and friends. If you raise $40 by April 7th, you can receive your T-shirt in advance of walk day.
Step 2. Personalize: Add your story and why you walk to your online fundraising page created when you registered in Step 1.
Step 3. Raise Funds: Ask family and friends to donate. Once you reach $40, the Foundation will send you your Walk T-Shirt! Additional prizes earned from your fundraising will be sent to you after the walk. (Double a donation by having your donors check with their employer to see if they have a Matching Gift Program.)
Step 4. Rally Others: Encourage your family and friends (your circle of strength) to participate and make a difference right where they are – even if they aren’t in the area. They can register online, raise funds and receive a T-shirt and prizes too!
Step 5. Join Us: On Saturday, April 17th, join us at 10 a.m. EDT for our Walk for Sjögren’s Zoom Kickoff with our ask the doctor panel, door prizes and much more! Then step off that day at 10:45 a.m. for your virtual walk in your neighborhood! Be sure to take and share your pictures at #walkforsjogrens or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Remember, if you raise funds or donate $40 you will receive your Walk for Sjögren’s T-shirt and any other prizes earned after the event!
Thank you for helping us raise funds and awareness as we work together to conquer Sjögren’s and bring hope for a brighter future.
