Please join me and the Ummah Garden team to support the Sjögren's Foundation! Sjögren’s Disease is an autoimmune disorder that is often unrecognized for years. It took over twenty years for me to be diagnosed, which delayed treatment that has profoundly improved my quality of life. Many physicians are unaware of systemic manifestations of SD. It is the second most common cause of autonomic nervous system dysfunction and significantly increases the risk of lymphoma, among other complications. The Sjögren’s Foundation educates patients and professionals, advocates for patients, and helps to fund research into treatments for this disease.
