As some of you may know, I struggled many years before getting a diagnosis of Sjögren's. It is an autoimmune disease that attacks the connective tissues throughout the body, including organs.

This weekend I walked with my sister, Brenda, and many individuals with the Sjogren's Foundation. The goal is to raise money for research to find improved treatment plans for those affected by Sjögren's.
