Thanks for visiting our Team page for the Maricopa Dental Hygiene Program Team! We hope that you will join the team and help to increase awareness and raise funds to support the work of the Sjögren's Foundation! 

There are multiple ways you can help by joining the team to make Sjögren's known:

·         Register by setting-up your personal webpage and become part of the team! Self-donate and/or raise funds to earn a T-shirt, prizes and make a difference! (Note that a Special $20 T-shirt rate is available for students who register with $20+ and join us in-person.)

·         Join us in person for our team meetup before 10am. Meet at Phoenix College Dental Clinic (3144 N. 7th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85013). 

o   Everyone is invited from MDHP, friends and family to the area's Sjögren's community. 

o   We begin by watching the SW Walk for Sjögren's Opening Ceremony on Zoom (so bring your device with Zoom on it, to watch with us). Then we will follow up with our celebratory walk, festivities, giveaways and more.

Did you know that upwards of 4 million Americans are living with Sjögren's? 

o   Sjögren's is serious, prevalent and a systemic autoimmune disease that affects the entire body.  Along with symptoms of extensive dryness, other serious complications include profound fatigue, chronic pain, major organ involvement, neuropathies, and lymphomas.

o   Sjögren's is very common yet still little known, you can help make a difference by joining our team and help us to get the word out!  We need your help to support research, education and to increase Sjögren’s awareness!
